As they say, love comes in the most unexpected of ways.
That is the starting point for WeTV’s original series “Pasabuy,” centered on one of the biggest lifestyle trends that emerged during the pandemic.
Xian Lim does double duty on the project, but this time behind the camera, as the writer and director for this nakakakilig show slated to premiere on WeTV in late September.
The charismatic Gino Roque is the leading man and cast to play his love interest is Heaven Peralejo, who came on board after Barbie Imperial was released from the show due to personal issues. She just joined the team at the 10-day locked-in shoot of the eight-episode series in Batangas.
“Pasabuy” tells the story of two individuals who find themselves stranded in the same place at the start of the lockdown. Anna (Peralejo) is a young executive while John (Roque) is an artist.
“Pasabuy” is a WeTV Original concept, co-produced by Forza Productions, that is written and directed by Xian Lim.
