IN a huge boost to local volleyball development, leading snack food company Republic Biscuit Corp. signed a three-year sponsorship deal yesterday with the Philippine National Volleyball Federation to supports its national teams, competitions and programs.
“We are here for the long haul. Pang-matagalan ito,” said REBISCO president Jonathan Ng after the contract signing cum press conference that was held online, adding the backing would begin with the national men’s and women’s volleyball and beach volleyball squads.
“We are really into helping Philippine volleyball and want it to grow and rise internationally,” noted REBISCO business unit head Noric Ng, who signed the agreement on behalf of the company. “We trust the PNVF’s plans and programs of the PNVF under its president Tats Suzara.”
