Trends come and go, but the classic hits of APO Hiking Society live on. The legendary Filipino band’s members Jim Paredes and Boboy Garovillo mark their 50 years of friendship and music in the “APO Hiking Society 50th Anniversary Concert” at the Newport Performing Arts Theater on November 17.
Apo’s legacy is one that transcends generations, bringing joy to couples growing old together to the tune of “Panalangin. Many also grew up on the wisdom of “Batang Bata Ka Pa.” APO’s music has been the backdrop of life’s defining moments.
