GMA kicks off the holiday season with the launch of its 2023 Christmas station ID, titled “Feeling Blessed Ngayong Pasko,” a reminder of the true essence of the season: love, empathy, generosity, and selflessness.

In this year’s holiday video, Kapuso stars and personalities shine a light on everyday individuals who contribute to their families and communities in various meaningful ways. The video was first unveiled last Sunday, November 5 during “All-Out Sundays,” and featuries well-known figures in entertainment and news such as Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera, Alden Richards, Michael V., Heart Evangelista, Bea Alonzo, Barbie Forteza, Dennis Trillo, Mel Tiangco, Vicky Morales, and Jessica Soho. They start by encouraging everyone to appreciate their blessings and share their love, emphasizing that each of us has the power to make others happy, regardless of the scale of our actions.
While the video showcases GMA artists engaging in festive activities, the focus remains on ordinary people who inspire through their selflessness. These include Elmer Mallanao, a delivery rider whose hard work contributed to his daughter’s cum laude graduation; RM Capillas, who left his BPO career to care for his grateful foster father Avelino; pharmacist Arshie Larga, who provides free medicine to those in need; and the story of Nanay Bernadeta Zamora, whose life was saved by nursing students Angyl Fayth Ababat and Kristianne Joice Noelle Ona. The video also highlights the generosity of Michael Kimuell, a jeepney driver who doesn’t charge a fare when passengers come up short. GMA also pays tribute to veteran broadcaster Mike Enriquez for his generosity as the biggest donor to the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Abandoned in Santa Ana, Manila.

The lyric video for the Christmas theme song, “Feeling Blessed Ngayong Pasko,” features Christian Bautista, Mark Bautista, Rita Daniela, Hannah Precillas, Garrett Bolden, Jeremiah Tiangco, Anthony Rosaldo, Thea Astley, Jessica Villarubin, John Rex, XOXO, Zephanie, Princess Aliyah, and Julie Anne San Jose.
GMA’s Christmas station IDs have become an annual tradition, not only conveying messages of goodwill for the holiday season in the Philippines and beyond but also expressing gratitude to the network’s ever-growing audience. With 106 TV stations nationwide, GMA is committed to reaching millions more Filipinos while exploring the potential of various online platforms to provide accurate, in-depth, and timely information and superior entertainment to Filipinos worldwide.
