GMA Network has issued a statement yesterday regarding the sexual harassment complaint filed by Sparkle artist Sandro Muhlach against two independent contractors, Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz.
In its statement, GMA confirmed that it had received a formal complaint from Muhlach. The network emphasized the gravity of the allegations and disclosed that it had already begun its own investigation prior to receiving the formal complaint.
“Recognizing the seriousness of the alleged incident, GMA Network had already initiated its own investigation even before receiving the formal complaint,” the statement read.
GMA highlighted its commitment to maintaining confidentiality at the request of Sandro Muhlach. “Respecting Sandro’s request for confidentiality, the investigating body will withhold all details of the formal investigation until its conclusion.”
The network also assured the public and stakeholders of its dedication to a fair and impartial investigation. “The Network assures the public and all stakeholders of its commitment to conducting this investigation with the highest standards of fairness and impartiality.”
Sandro Muhlach has yet to make a public statement regarding the complaint. Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz have also not commented on the allegations.
