The National Bureau of Investigation yesterday said it has issued a subpoena against two independent contractors of GMA Network over the complaint filed by actor Sandro Muhlach.
“Yes, we have issued a subpoena,” NBI Director Jaime Santiago said in a message Tuesday afternoon.
He said the subpoena will allow the respondents the chance to air their side and refute the allegation in the complaint filed by Muhlach’s camp.
But the NBI chief did not identify the two respondents cited in the complaint by the 23-year old actor who is the son of former child celebrity Nino Muhlach.
But GMA Network previously identified independent contractors Richard Cruz and Jojo Nones as the subject of the younger Muhlach’s complaint.
The television network also said it had already initiated its own investigation even before receiving the formal complaint from Muhlach.
This after social media posts circulated online about the son of an actor who was allegedly violated by two men.
