A GERMAN living in Bohol was injured after being attacked yesterday by two unidentified gunmen in Panglao town, a tourist destination.
A report from the Panglao police station identified the victim as Pantaleone Voci, 64, who is residing in Purok 3, Barangay Danao in Panglao town.
Initial investigation said Voci was jogging with his dog in Barangay Danao when he was shot by the assailants, riding a red motorcycle, at around 6:10 a.m.
Police said the suspects, both wearing black jackets and face masks, used a cal. 45 pistol in the attack, based on the empty shells recovered at the crime scene.
They fled towards Dauis town, also in Bohol.
The victim was brought to Tagbilaran City Hospital for treatment.
