It was love at first sight for the audience at the recent launch of Cornerstone’s bets for P-pop stardom — G22 and VXON.
G22 is a quartet of smart and highly-talented girls. Alfea, Bianca, Jaz and Aj are heads and shoulders above the usual sing-and-dance girl group because nothing seems forced — from their moves, to their grooves, to their overall look. They perform in harmony, with no one trying to upstage the others. G22’s performance of their first single, “Bang” is a truly visual and oral treat to the audience.
VXON shares G22’s effervescent quality. The all-male quintet has the sound, talent and audience appeal that can easily win fans. Individually, they are strong, but seeing them together performing “P.S.” live, they are dazzling.
Bullets (the official fandom of G22) and Vixies (the official fandom of VXON) had a field day as they watched their idols appear at the PPOP Convention at the New Frontier Theater, Quezon City.
The two groups also wowed at the PPOP concert last April 10 at the Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City.
