CATHOLIC media icon Fr. Larry Faraon, host of the Sunday radio program, “Healing Touch” on Radio Veritas, died yesterday from pneumonia.
He was 64.
The Church-run Radio Veritas said its former program manager died at about 3:06 a.m. at a hospital in Quezon City.

“We pray for the eternal repose of your soul, Fr Larry,” said Radio Veritas.
Faraon was program manager of Radio Veritas at the time of the 1986 EDSA “people power revolt.” He had hosted the television program of the Family Rosary Crusade.
Faraon was last heard on Radio Veritas on June 15 when he officiated a Mass live on-air and online.
Faraon was born July 4, 1956 in Biñan, Laguna.
He was ordained a Dominican priest in 1983 and has served the Dominican Order for years.
