A PETITE charmer representing her native Calbayog City was crowned as Miss FIT Philippines 2022 in a belated finals, originally scheduled last December, in glittering rites held at Palazzo Verde in Las Piñas City last Tuesday.
Jackelaine Adarayan Fleming, 22, who is based in Cebu City, topped the field of 28 contestants from all over the country to win the coveted title, succeeding Yllana Marie Aduana to become the third winner in the national beauty search that advocates for holistic fitness.
F.I.T. stands for F-Face, I-Intelligence and T-Toned healthy body. The contestants underwent a series of sessions for physical fitness, intelligence fitness, emotional fitness and pageant skills fitness under expert coaches in their respective fields.
Also voted as Best in Evening Gown and Miss Photogenic, Fleming took home P 200,000 in cash and prizes.
When asked about the importance of face-to-face versus social media interaction, Fleming stressed how essential it is to express how we feel towards our loved ones because time could be gone in a split second.
Standing at 5’4,” Fleming is a social media influencer who has her own YouTube channel.
She was also one of the 12 finalists in last year’s Aliwan Fiesta Digital Queen, the virtual pageant that is akin but distinct to Reyna ng Aliwan.
Named as first runner-up was Aliya Clemeña Rohilla from Albay Province while second runner-up was Juvyel Anne Saluta from Manila. Rounding the top 5 were Larsine Grace Jensen from Candijay, Bohol and Arrieanna Zobel Beron from San Pedro, Laguna.
Miss FIT Philippines aims to find the complete, holistically trained beauty queen, dubbed as a “ProMedia Beauty Athlete,” fit for national and international pageantry. The pageant is presented by ProMedia headed by Paul Izon Reyes and The Belle Salon owned by Jam Aquino.
Among the successful ProMedia atheletes, to name a few, are: Miss World Philippines 2022 Gwen Fourniol, Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2022 Chelsea Fernandez, Mutya ng Pilipinas 2022 Iona Gibbs, Miss Earth Air 2022 Sheridan Mortlock from Australia and Aduana who won the Face of Binibini award at the last Binibining Pilipinas finals.
