A FIRE broke out at the building of the Land Registration Authority in Quezon City yesterday morning.
No one was reported killed or injured in the fire that started at around 5 a.m. at the computer room on the second floor of the building.
Responding firefighters put out the fire at around 6:40 a.m.
Quezon City fire investigators are still determining what caused the fire but officials said faulty electrical wiring is one of the angles they are looking into.
Chief Inspector Joseph del Mundo, operations officer of the Quezon City Fire Department, said only computers were destroyed in the fire. He added that no important documents were lost.
The initial cost of damage was placed at P20,000. – Victor Reyes
