FIRE broke out at the military’s general headquarters, Camp Aguinaldo, in Quezon City, damaging a building used as soldiers’ lodging.
AFP public information office Col. Jorry Baclor said the fire broke out at around 5 p.m. at the personnel barracks of the AFP Communications, Electronics, and Information Systems Service.
“The fire was immediately contained,” said Baclor, adding the fire was put out at around 7 p.m.

“Only the personnel barracks sustained damages,” Baclor also said, adding that no one was hurt in the fire.
He also said the cause of the fire is still being determined by the Bureau of Fire Protection.
