PSC Commission and Team Philippines chief of mission to the Vietnam Southeast Asian Games Ramon Fernandez will be the special solo guest today in the online edition of the Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum.
Fernandez will talk about the recent snag in the training and preparation of the Philippine contingent to the biennial meet set Nov. 21 to Dec. 2, and where the Filipinos are, being the reigning defending overall champion.
The training of the Philippine delegation in a supposed bubble starting on April 15 was recently cancelled after the National Capital Region and adjoining provinces of Bulacan, Laguna, Rizal, and Cavite were put under enhanced community quarantine due to the spike in COVID-19 cases.
The lockdown has been modified to MECQ although mass gathering, training, and contact sports are still prohibited.
