Ex-PSG chief named 203rd IB commander

MALACAÑANG yesterday released a list of its latest appointments and promotions, led by former Presidential Security Group (PSG) commander Brig. Gen. General Randolph Cabangbang who now heads 203rd Infantry Brigade.

The Presidential Communications Office, in its Facebook account, uploaded the list of appointments and promotions in the Department of National Defense, Department of Agriculture, and Department of Information and Communications Technology, which were made on April 13 and 19.

Among those promoted on April 13 were Maj. Generals Rey Alemania and Ferdinand Barandon, and Brig. Generals Ma. Dolores Lim and Erwin Victoriano Machica III.

The President, on April 19, designated Brig. Generals Edmundo Perlata as assistant chief of staff for intelligence, Joel Alejandro Nacnac as deputy chief of staff for reservist and retiree affairs, and Joey Escanillas as commander of the 302nd Infantry Brigade.

Marcos also designated Colonels Ulysses Marquez as assistant secretary for personnel affairs, Anthon Abroinam as commander of the 2nd Mechanized Infantry brigade, and Francisco Loren Jr. as commander of the 41st infantry brigade. — Jocelyn Montemayor
