It’s a different fulfillment that Dingdong Dantes gets as he helps tell the fascinating stories about our wonderful planet in GMA’s much-awarded infotainment program “Amazing Earth,” which is on its fourth year.
“More than 200 episodes at apat na taon na pala ‘yon, ang bilis! Hindi na lang siya basta trabaho para sakin, kundi way of life ko na rin. Bumalik ako sa pagiging estudyante ng buhay,” he said.
On its fourth year, he said they are gearing up for more exciting and adventourous stories.
“I’m very grateful dahil marami pa kaming ipapakitang kuwento, hindi lang tungkol sa mga hayop at kapaligiran kundi pati ang amazing Earth heroes na laging ipinaglalaban ang kalikasan. Marami pa kaming ibibida na mga hidden travel destination.”
Actress Glaiza de Castro joined the anniversary celebration by giving a tour of her house in picturesque Baler Province. She also showcased her Zumba skills together with the other enthusiasts in Luneta Park. Then YouTuber and content creator Spartacus “Spart” Farnacio surprised viewers with his death-defying adventure at El Fraile, an abandoned battleship in Manila Bay.
This coming Sunday, July 17, Dingdong will take the audience on an epic journey around the country and the seven continents with stories from the series “Epic Yellowstone: Life on the Wing.”
Joining him is Kapuso leading lady Max Collins as she reminisces her island girl roots in Boracay where she became a resident for four years.
The show will also present the supernatural near-encounter between two cyclists and what they believe are the ghosts of Bataan Death March soldiers!
“Amazing Earth” continues its anniversary special on July 24 with sought-after Kapuso actor Ruru Madrid, who goes on a nature adventure with the so-called Team Harabas in Occidental Mindoro.
The second part of “Epic Yellowstone: Life on the Wing,” a countdown of the most fascinating winged creatures at Yellowstone National Park, shall also unfold.
Dingdong will also travel to the beautiful El Nido, Palawan to witness the release of a rescued turtle or pawikan. He will also share some exclusive videos of the Dantes family’s recent vacation in the majestic island.
To complete the month-long celebration on July 31, the youthful eco-warriors of Bagac, Bataan headed by Fr. Noel Nuguid will also be introduced. Their team conducts coastal clean-ups and releases rescued turtles back to the sea.
The reigning Miss Universe Charity Pauline Amelinckx will also talk about free diving and her coloring books for children, which are part of her pro-nature advocacy.
