THE Department of Education yesterday said more than 77 percent or 21.5 million of learners from kindergarten to senior high school and alternative learning systems have so far enrolled for the current school year that started last Monday.

“We observed a significant increase of 1.5 million enrollments from the start of classes on July 29, and we are optimistic in maintaining the momentum in the days to come,” it added.

The enrollment period for the current school year will end on August 16.
