MINIMUM wage earners in the Davao Region are now a step closer to getting their salary adjustments, with the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) – Region XI set to hold a public hearing on the issue.
In a social media post, the Davao Region wage board said the public hearing on February 7 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. will discuss the minimum wage adjustment in the region.
“The RTWPB-XI will be conducting a public hearing on minimum wage adjustment for workers in the private sector and domestic workers,” said the Davao wage board, adding the public hearing will be held at the Pilipinas Ballroom of the Grand Regal Hotel in Davao City.

Only the Davao Region wage board has yet to issue a wage order in the latest round of pay hikes among all 16 RTWPBs.
The last wage order for the private sector in Region XI took effect on June 19, 2022, when the minimum wage rate was increased to P443.00.
The last wage order for domestic workers in the Davao Region took effect on June 20, 2022, when the minimum wage rate was increased to P4,500.
