COLLEGE of St. Benilde taekwondo jin Victor Emmanuel Rodriguez proved his worth against seven other foes last Sunday in the NCAA 96th season speed kicking competition.
Rodriguez scored 7.042 to bag the gold in the junior welterweight division, while Bernardo Owen Caibigan of the Emilio Aguinaldo College registered 6.783 to win the silver. Seth Nathaniel Go of the San Beda University took home the bronze after tallying 6.625 points.
In the middleweight division, Red Lion Louell Ivannerich Mamaclay beat five others after he totaled 6.500 points for the mint, while John Cris Samson of the Generals followed with 6.458 points for the silver. Javier Dexter Macasaet completed the podium after finishing with 6.383.
