THE Department of Health (DOH) yesterday reported that the average daily coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases in the Philippines continues to drop and is now below the 150-mark.
The latest COVID-19 case bulletin reported an average of 140 cases daily for the period of July 31 to August 6, 977 infections during the seven-day period.
This is 25 percent lower than cases reported from July 24 to 30, which averaged at 186 cases daily.
The DOH said there were 34 deaths reported. — Gerard Naval
