THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) is set to put photos of registered voters beside their names in the Posted Computerized Voters List (PCVLs) in voting centers come the May 2025 national and local polls to further improve the public’s voting experience.

Comelec chairman George Garcia said they want to make it easier for voters to find their names in the PCVL by including their photos.

“In the next elections, in 2025, when you look for your names in the voters list outside the precincts, it will bear your pictures,” said Garcia in a recent press briefing.

“This will make finding your names easier for everybody,” he added.

Previously, the PCVLs only lists the names of registered voters. The pictures of voters are included in the Book of Voters, which are held by the Electoral Boards inside polling precincts.

Aside from the improved PCVL, the poll chief said the online Precinct Finder will still be made accessible to the public.

“The Precinct Finder will still be made available in the Comelec website to help voters identify where they should cast their votes,” said Garcia.

He also said the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) will continue to establish Voters’ Assistance Desks in all voting centers.

“PPCRV’s Voter’s Assistance Desk is a big help to voters as they are there in every polling precinct with their lists sourced from the Comelec,” said Garcia.
