NFT (Non-Fungible Token) can be used to represent items such as photos, videos, audio, and other types of digital files.

VNT Vention founder Julius Santillan, cryptocurrency trader and entrepreneur, noted during a virtual press conference on July 23, “Gusto naming suportahan ang mga local artists natin lalo na yung kailangan ng exposure o deserve makilala. Tutulungan po namin sila to sell their collectibles and works of art.”

Santillan leads in putting up this digital platform that involves selling and auctioning stuff online. He hopes that Filipino artists will benefit from its noble cause. The platform’s main objective is to encourage Pinoy artists, from musicians to painters, to use the blockchain technology to distribute their masterpieces to collectors and fans. Vention argues that “by tokenizing their works and selling them on a digital marketplace, they can maximize their marketability and reach for potential customers.”

Santillan said that they had already tapped notable artists interested in selling their collectibles. He hopes that several Filipino freelancers, especially in the field of arts, will become part of this 21st century marketplace and enjoy its good returns.
