The poll body said of honoraria payouts have already been 100 percent completed in the National Capital Region (NCR), Caraga, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Bicol Region, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, and Soccsksargen.

Under the Election Service Reform Act, the EB honoraria and allowances must be paid within 15 days from the date of elections.
For the 2023 barangay and poll elections, each EB chairperson, EB members, and DESO/SS nationwide will receive P10,000, P9,000, and P8,000, respectively.
Comelec spokesman John Rex Laudiangco urged those who have yet to get paid with their honoraria to claim them as soon as possible.
“We are calling on the less than one percent poll workers to go to the Offices of Election Officers (OEOs) so that you can already get your honoraria,” said Laudiangco.
The poll official said their honoraria will have to be claimed personally since they have to sign documentary requirements.
“This is just a small token we are providing to repay for your gallant services during the elections,” said Laudiangco.
