IT’S all systems go for the release today, Wednesday, of the results of the 2019 Bar examination, the Supreme Court said.
“The results will be release more or less the same time last year (around lunchtime),” SC Spokesman Brian Keith Hosaka said.
The Office of the Bar Confidant earlier said the results will be posted online at the SC website (sc.judiciary.gov.ph) due to the threat posed by the novel coronavirus.
“In light of the government’s call for social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19, everyone is advised to stay in their respective homes and check the results online. No visitors shall be allowed to enter the Supreme Court compound on said date and the list of Bar and the result will not be displayed in the high court premises,” the OBC said in an advisory issued on April 23.
The OBC said the dates for the clearance procedure, oath taking ceremony and roll signing will be announced later.
In the 2018 Bar exams, only 1,800 of the 8,158 law graduates passed, with Ateneo de Manila’s Sean James Borja emerging as the topnotcher with a passing mark of 89.306.
