A TWO-DAY art festival featuring pink memorabilia and artworks that outgoing Vice President Leni Robredo received from supporters and volunteers during the presidential campaign will be featured on Friday in Quezon City to mark the launch of her new non-government organization.

Robredo said the “Likha” festival will be held at the Angat Buhay NGO volunteer center on Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City.

“Sa July 1 na ang launching ng Angat Buhay! Kita-kits tayo sa ating volunteer center sa Katipunan, kung saan meron ring gaganapin na street and art festival (The launching of Angat Buhay is on July 1! See you at our volunteer center where there will be a street and art festival),” she said in a Facebook post.

As the number of COVID-19 cases is rising again, Robredo said, the number of people who will be allowed to enter the center had to be limited to those who were able sign up through the link shared in her post.

“For those who will not be able to join us, we will be setting up a live streaming link so that everyone can be part of this exciting new adventure for Angat Buhay,” Robredo said.

Robredo earlier said she will focus on her Angat Buhay program by turning it into an NGO once she steps down from office on June 30.

Angat Buhay is an anti-poverty program which uses private sector resources to augment the meager budget of the Office of the Vice President.
