All MMDA transactions now processed at Pasig office

THE Metropolitan Manila Development Authority yesterday advised the public that starting today, Monday, all transactions at its Redemption Center in Orense, Makati will now be processed at its new head office building on Dona Julia Vargas Ave. in Barangay Ugong, Pasig City.

The new 20-storey MMDA head office building, first conceptualized in 2018, was formally inaugurated on May 23, 2022.

The agency said among the transactions include the “settling of traffic-related fines and processing of clearance(s).”

It added that online payment through the Landbank.biz portal and e-wallets, including GCash and Maya, as well as Bayad app, will remain accessible to the public.

“Those who are apprehended for violating the Single Ticketing System are encouraged to settle their fines through the Landbank.biz portal,” the agency said.

The 20 most common traffic violations and their corresponding fines under the Metro Manila Traffic Code are disregarding traffic signs (P1K), illegal parking, both attended and unattended (P1k and P2K, respectively), violation of number coding (P500), truck ban (P3K), reckless driving (P1K for the 1st offense, P2K for 2nd offense, and P2K and seminar for 3rd offense), tricycle ban (P500), obstruction (P1K), dress code for motorcycles (P500 for the 1st offense, P750 for 2nd offense, and (P1K for 3rd offense), overloading (P1K) defective motor vehicle accessories (P1K), unauthorized modification (P2K), arrogance/discourteous conduct (P500), loading and unloading zone in prohibited zones (P1K), illegal counterflow (P2K for 1st offense and P5K for succeeding offenses) and P1K for over-speeding.
