THE Roman Catholic Church will celebrate the Archdiocesan Youth Month next month, according to Manila Archbishop Jose Cardinal Advincula.
Advincula said this year’s celebration will see various activities organized in parishes, vicariates, and schools based on the theme “Rejoice in Hope.”
The celebration will start on September 7 with activities at the San Pedro Calungsod Youth Center in Intramuros, Manila, which will kick off at 3 p.m. and last until 5 p.m.
A Youth Ministry Conference will be held on September 28 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Nazarene Catholic School in Quiapo, Manila.
The conference aims to empower youth ministers, lay leaders, and young individuals by offering sessions on topics that will equip participants in becoming compassionate missionaries of God.
“We encourage you to send a minimum of five young people and there will be a ‘solidarity share’ of P300 for each person. This will cover their packed lunch and conference kit,” Advincula said.
