ABS-CBN is mourning the loss of two of its esteemed leaders: Deo Endrinal and Atty. Jake Almeda Lopez.

Endrinal, 60, was the head of Dreamscape Entertainment and was known for his creative brilliance, passion for storytelling, and commitment to excellence.

His son, PJ, announced his passing on Facebook last Saturday.

“This has to be the hardest caption that I will ever  post.

“Thank you daddy for everything, you have been the best father not just to me but to everyone that has known you. We will always remember how fortunate we are that you were in our lives.

“This will definitely be a hole in my heart and will leave a scar; but I know that you’re finally free from pain and now happily dancing in heaven cause you’ll definitely be the life of the party up there.

“We might be grieving now but instead of the sadness we should be celebrating the life you lived and shared with us and for that we’ll always be grateful.

“For now, Rest in Paradise Daddy,

“I love you so so much.”

Endrinal was a well-loved producer and an exceptional storyteller behind some of the most memorable shows on Philippine television, including “Mara Clara,” “Mula sa Puso,” “May Bukas Pa,” “100 Days to Heaven,” “My Binondo Girl,” “Budoy,” “Kadenang Ginto,” “The General’s Daughter,” “Flower of Evil,” “Senior High,” “Unbreak My Heart,” “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” and “Linlang.”

Endrinal’s remains lie in state at the Heritage Park in Taguid and inurnment will be on February 8.

Atty. Augusto “Jake” Almeda Lopez, 95, was a decorated war veteran and a pillar of ABS-CBN who dedicated many years to building and rebuilding the network alongside its founder, Almeda Lopez was called by Kapitan Geny as the “soul” of the organization.

Almeda Lopez joined the Lopez group in the year 1961.

“His life was a testament to service, both on the battlefield and as a Kapamilya leader, serving his country and contributing greatly to ABS-CBN’s success.

“As we bid farewell to one of our pioneers, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family during this difficult time,” ABS-CBN said in their  statement.
