NINE out of 10 Filipinos feel the worst of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is over but close to 60 percent are still worried they could still catch it, the fourth quarter survey of the Social Weather Stations (SWS) done from December 10 to 14 showed.

The survey, which involved 1,200 adult respondents with a margin of error of ±2.8 percent, showed that 93 percent of Filipinos said the worst of COVID -19 is behind us (up from 91 percent in September to October 2022) while six percent said the worst is yet to come (down from 9 percent).

SWS said that since December 2021, “large majorities” of Filipinos have felt that the “worst is already behind us,” with 80 percent, followed by 83 percent in April 2022, 91 percent in June and again in September to October 2022, and 93 percent in December 2022.
