LEGENDARY balladeer Marco Sison kicks off the second quarter of 2022 with a special concert at Teatrino in Promenade, Greenhills on June11 titled “An 80s SaturDATE.”
With stage direction by Calvin Neria and musical direction by Bobby Gomez, “An 80s SaturDATE” is a must-see musical spectacle that also marks Marco’s very first solo concert this year with a live audience.
With an amazing career that spans over four prodigious decades, Marco is widely recognized not only in the Philippines but the world over as well as one of the major pillars of OPM with such mammoth hits as “My Love Will See You Through,” “Si Aida, Si Lorna, O Si Fe,” “I’ll Face Tomorrow,” and “Make Believe” among many others.
“After two years of pandemic and doing virtual shows, I am very excited to perform in this show. It will be a lot of fun as Teatrino is a very intimate venue and this will give me the opportunity to bond and interact with the audience. Of course, our production will still follow all the necessary safety protocols,” says Marco.
Joining Marco as his special guest will be singer-actress Rita Daniela. Also performing in the show are up-and-coming artists Elisha and Andrea Gutierrez. Setting the party mood will be The Infinite. Former presidential chief legal counsel Sal Panelo will also be one of the
performers in the pre-show.
