EIGHT members of the terrorist group Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) have surrendered to the military, bringing along eight firearms, in Radjah Buayan town in Maguindanao, the military reported.

The eight surrendered to troops of the Army’s 33rd Infantry Battalion in Barangay Zapakan last Friday and were later received by the battalion’s commander, Lt. Col. Benjamin Cadiente Jr.

The AFP Western Mindanao Command (Westmincom) withheld the identities of the eight, who belong to the BIFF-Karialan faction, for security reasons.
