MAKATI police arrested a grandmother, her daughter and grand-daughter and seized suspected shabu with a street value of P204,000 in a buy-bust operation in Makati City on Sunday night.
Two more were arrested in another sting operation in San Juan also on Sunday night, with ₱163,880 worth of suspected shabu seized.
Police identified the suspects in the Makati bust as Miraflor Dela Dingco Espayos, 63; Joy Dela Dingco Espayos, 38; and Kristel Dela Dingco Espayos, 18, residents of Barangay Cembo.
Police said at around 6 p.m., a poseur buyer bought illegal drugs from the three on Acacia St. in Barangay Cembo. Once the transaction was completed, cops arrested the three.
Police also confiscated a weighing scale and a white Mitsubishi Adventure being used by the suspects to transport the illegal drugs.
Nabbed in San Juan were Edgar Lee, 49, who is in the drug watchlist of the city, and Daisy Ortega, 49, residents of Barangay Sta. Lucia. — Noel Talacay and Christian Oineza
