Montejo said they received information that Leongson, in cahoots with Herminio and Daguian, was peddling shabu, prompting cops to conduct an entrapment operation. An undercover cop was able to buy P2,000 worth of shabu from Herminio and Daguian at the basement of the EAMC. The two were collared after handing shabu to the undercover agent.

Recovered from the five were five grams of shabu with a street value of P34,000, several drug paraphernalia, three cellphones, P673 in cash, and the buy-bust money.

A 38-year-old man was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Marikina City on Monday, with P102,000 worth of suspected shabu seized.

Col. Restituto Arcangel, local police chief, said 15 grams of suspected shabu and a .45 caliber pistol with five bullets were seized from Antonio Vengco of Barangay Parang. — With Christian Oineza
