A 5.2 magnitude earthquake stuck off the west coast of Palauig, Zambales yesterday morning, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
Phivolcs said the quake happened 169 kilometers west of Palauig’s waters at 8:17 a.m.
The quake was of tectonic origin with a depth of 22 kilometers.
The agency said no properties were damaged but aftershocks were expected. — Noel Talacay
