THE Department of Education yesterday said 42 schools in Malabon have yet to start classes more than a week after students returned to classrooms for the current school year.
The 42 schools, according to DepEd, are still reeling from the effects of typhoon Carina and the southwest monsoon and are still undergoing repair and clean-up operations.
The latest data from DepEd showed 23,845,025 enrollees as of yesterday morning, 86.01 percent of the 27,722,835 target enrollees for the current school year.
