Rentuaya said the incident happened around 9 a.m. along a national highway in Barangay Apolonia.

Rentuaya said a truck driven by Elvin Millanes tried to overtake a tricycle being driven by Warren Dabuet and the truck slammed into a Toyota Hilux driven by Antonio on the opposite lane.

Anotonio and his soldier-companions aboard the Hilux died on the spot.
