THE decomposing bodies of four persons, three of them abducted last month, were found in a deep ravine in Tagaytay City on Tuesday and Wednesday, a police official said.
Tagaytay City police chief Maj. Juan Oruga said two of the victims, Lino Kinalenta and Mark Ian Edrina, were found by Department of Public Works and Highways personnel on Tuesday afternoon during a clearing and maintenance work.
Oruga said the DPWH personnel smelled foul odor in the area, went to check where it was coming from, found the bodies, and informed the police, who retrieved the remains on Wednesday.
While retrieval operations were going in, police found two more bodes at the deeper part of the ravine.
One of the bodies was identified as Gleiar Bondoc. Police are still determining the identity of the other victim.
Kinalenta, Edrina and Bondoc were abducted by a group of unidentified suspects in Bacoor City last December 19.
