MAKATI City police has identified four Chinese, all Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators employees, as suspects behind the abduction of a Chinese woman, also a POGO employee, at the Makati City central business district last December 9.
Major Gideon Ines, chief of the Makati City police investigation division, identified the four as Guo Wanshun, Song Xifei, Guo Ebin, and Zhang Xipeng.
Meanwhile, the former owner of the Chrysler van used in the abduction, went to the Makati police to clear his name, saying the vehicle had been sold to Wanshun. The previous owner, also a Chinese, was not identified. He pointed police to the residence of Wanshun in Pasay City.
Wanshun, however, was not in Pasay City and in Parañaque City, where he also resides, when cops conducted a follow-up operation.
Ines said that based on the information they gathered, Washun left the country last December 12.
