SOUTHERN Police District operatives nabbed three suspected pushers and seized suspected shabu worth P155,380 in separate buy-bust operations in Makati and Pasay on Tuesday.
Police identified the three as Andrada Mohammad, 18, of Barangay South Cembo, Makati; Ronnie Libres Martinez alias Buyong, 36, and Joan Alora Jupita, alias Joan, 40, residents of Pasay who are in the city’s drug watchlist.
Seized from Mohammad, who was nabbed in an operation at about 2 p.m. in Makati, were 2.7 grams of suspected shabu with a with street value of P18,972, drug paraphernalia, the P500 buy-bust money, and two cellphones.
Police recovered 20.06 grams of suspected shabu worth P136,408 from Martinez and Jupita, who were arrested in an operation at about 11:30 p.m. in Barangay 124, Zone 12. Also seized from them were a digital weighing scale, the P500 buy-bust money, and a cal. 22 revolver.
The three are detained at the Police Station Drugs Enforcement Unit Custodial Facility and will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. — Noel Talacay
