POLICEMEN arrested three men who sold overpriced thermal scanners in Barangay Villa Kananga, Butuan City on Sunday afternoon.
The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group identified the three as Keny Jorell Pagapong Boucher, Jurie Paypa, and Mark Anthony Cano, who were arrested in an entrapment operation.
Recovered from them were 47 pieces of thermal scanners they were selling for P4,000 each, an overprice of P600.

Also seized were a gray Mitsubishi Montero Sport, three cellphones, the buy-bust money, and boodle money used in the operation.
The three will be charged with violation of RA 7581 as amended by 10623 (“The Price Act”) and RA 11469 (“Bayanihan to Heal As One Act”).
