THE PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group on Wednesday arrested a Facebook user from Cebu for his post offering a P75-million reward for the killing of President Duterte.
Catherine Bentolan Ceron was nabbed around 9:30 a.m. in Sitio Tumoy, Barangay Ibabao in Cordova town in Cebu on charges of inciting to sedition and violation of the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.
The CIDG said Ceron, whose uses the name Ma Enirethac Norec, recently posted on Facebook her anger and hatred of the President and offered P75 million to whoever who kills him.
The CIDG said Ceron was arrested in coordination with the PNP Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit 7.

Ceron is the second Facebook user to be arrested by CIDG since Tuesday after a construction worker was nabbed in Malay town in Aklan for offering P100 million to anyone who can kill the President.
The arrests followed that of a public school teacher who was nabbed by NBI agents in Zambales for posting on Twitter an offer of P50 million to anyone who could kill President Duterte.
The construction worker, Ronald Quiboyen, 40, was arrested by the Malay police on Tuesday night after offering online a P100-million reward to anyone who can kill President Duterte.
The Malay police said Quiboyen is facing a case for violation of Article 142 of the Revised Penal Code (inciting to sedition).”
Quiboyen posted on his Facebook page, “‘yong 50milyon nyo doblihin ko gawin kung 100 milyon kung sino makapatay kay duterte andito ako ngayon sa boracay (Your P50 million, I will double it, I’ll make it P100 million, it’s for anyone who can kill Duterte. I’m currently in Boracay).”
Quiboyen was apparently commenting to the P50 million offer of arrested teacher Ronnel Mas.
“This was shared and reposted by other furious Facebook users who are apparently Boracaynons,” the Malay police station said.
