TWO citizens of India accused of being terrorists were recently deported by the Bureau of Immigration.

BI Intelligence Division Chief Fortunato Manahan Jr. said Manpreet Singh Gil and Mandeep Singh were deported last August 13 via a Thai Airways flight to New Delhi.

They were escorted by a BI team and were received by Indian authorities.

Manahan said Manpreet was deported for being an undesirable alien after the agency received information from the US Federal Bureau of Investigation that he is wanted by Indian authorities for several charges, including unlawful activities and murder.

“The BI likewise received information from the Indian government that Manpreet is the subject of a warrant of arrest issued by the Additional Chief Magistrate of Moga Punjab for violation of India’s Arms Act,” Manahan said, adding the two were allegedly involved in terrorist activities in Punjab, India.
