TWO foreigners, one a fugitive and another possessing fake passport, were recently banned from entering the country.
BI Port Operations Division chief Grifton Medina said Chinese Wang Zhi Qiang and Enow Lewis of Cameroon were intercepted by immigration personnel at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport last November 14 and 12, respectively, immediately after they deplaned.
Medina said Wang was arrested for his alleged involvement in a telecommunications fraud in Beijing and was included in the immigration database of blacklisted aliens.
He said Wang came from Xiamen when he was accosted by immigration personnel based on information provided by their Chinese counterparts regarding his pending case in Beijing. — Ashzel Hachero
