TWO policemen were killed while four others were injured in an ambush staged by a group of armed men in Shariff Aguak town in Maguindanao del Sur last Wednesday night.
The PNP denounced the attack and vowed to go after the killers of Patrolmen Saipoden Shiek Macacuna and Bryan Polayagan.
The attack injured Patrolmen Arjie Val Loie Pabinguit and Abdulgafor Alib; Staff Sergeant Benjie Delos Reyes; and Chief Master Sergeant Rey Vincent Gertos.

The policemen, all assigned with the Provincial Mobile Force Company, were on their way back to the provincial police headquarters in Camp Datu Akilan, also in Shariff Aguak, when they were waylaid at Barangay Poblacion at around 8:30 p.m.
