POLICE nabbed two Chinese for human trafficking and rescued six Vietnamese women in an alleged prostitution den in Makati City last Wednesday night.
The Chinese were identified as Kuang Meiting and Li Xuemei. They were arrested in a condominium on Malugay St., Barangay San Antonio allegedly being used as prostitution den.
Metro Manila police chief Maj. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar said the condominium is near a Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators outlet.
Eleazar said the prostitution den caters to Chinese clients, who have the option to use the condominium rooms of the suspects or take home the women they chose.
Eleazar said the Vietnamese women will be turned over to the DSWD.
The two arrested Chinese will be charged with violating the Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act.
