PRESIDENT Marcos Jr. has reappointed businessmen Benito Techico and Maynard Ngu as Special Envoys of the President to China for trade, investments, and tourism.
The Presidential Communications Office (PCO), on its Facebook page, announced the reappointments of Techico and Ngu, who were first appointed by the President as special envoys in February and March of this year, respectively.
Techico, prior to joining the Marcos government, worked for the Blue Cross Biotech Corporation while Ngu is from Cherry Mobile.
As the representatives of the President to China, their mandate includes promoting discussions involving trade, investments, and tourism and to coordinate with government officials, business leaders, and other important stakeholders to promote and improve economic cooperation between the Philippines and China.
