ONE in every four Filipinos gave President Marcos Jr (BBM) a “good” rating for is first 100 days in office, based on the online survey conducted by the Catholic Church-run Radio Veritas.
According to the results of the Veritas Truth Survey (VTS), about 25 percent of the 1,200 respondents nationwide rated Marcos’ performance as “good”; 22 percent gave him a rating of “poor”; 21 percent, “fair”; 13 percent, “excellent”; 11 percent, “very good”; and 8 percent were undecided.
VTS head Bro Clifford Sorita said the survey results indicate people want more from the Marcos administration in the next six years.
“People are expecting that things could be handled better, which this survey result mirrors,” said Sorita.
He said the administration should not waste the opportunity to prove itself better than its predecessors.
“In every new change of government, there is always an implied sense of hope that things would be much better. Thus, people are expecting more than what the previous administration could have done,” said Sorita.
The VTS said the survey, which was conducted between September 18 to October 6, asked respondents of their perception of Marcos’ performance during his first 100 days in office.
It was conducted online with responses gathered through a text-based and online data gathering process.
