The National Development Company (NDC) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) that will boost the country’s Philippine Innovation Hub.

NDC in a statement yesterday said the MOU was signed last September 18 with leading universities Singapore Management University and Murdoch University.

NDC said Singapore-based personnel will be hired and tasked to man a physical space separately at Murdoch University and at the Singapore Management University; and its physical co-working space for startups known as The Greenhouse. 

 The Philippine Innovation Hub’s physical presence in Singapore will conduct activities and programs on resource-sharing, collaboration, synergy building, internship partnership initiative and, among others, program development for student exchanges.

A physical presence of the Philippine Innovation Hub in Singapore becomes a physical conduit that allows real-time and more convenient options for start-ups to explore linkages and thus supports the further commercial development of start-ups in both countries.
