Thankfully, restrictions have eased and events have come back in full force. whisky lovers can once again look forward to 2 nights of festivities, networking, and of course, good liquor as Whisky Live Manila returns on November 4 and 5 at the Shangri-La Fort, Bonifacio Global City.

“This is such an exciting year for us as we hopefully bid goodbye fully to COVID and enjoy a more energetic whisky event. For those who’ve joined us for the past four years, expect new whisky brands this 2022. We’re also doing interactive whisky workshops where participants get the chance to create their own whisky cocktails,” says Whisky Live Manila organizer Grand Cru CEO Johnssen Li.

For this year, Grand Cru will be bringing over 100 different whisky brands from all over the world as well as 16 whisky masters for 2 nights of unlimited whisky tasting, whisky masterclasses & workshops, and a bartending competition. Guests will be able to purchase special bottles as well as standard offerings at a discount during the event.

Among internationally renowned whisky brands, Whisky Live Manila is also showcasing Wolfburn, the most northerly whisky distillery on the Scottish mainland and known to fashion their whisky by hand, using only the finest ingredients, and without haste.

Another brand joining the line-up is Duncan Taylor, which owns one of the largest privately held collections of vintage and rare whiskies and has a reputation for offering the most complex and authentic whiskies without compromise. For the bar show, the world’s first Fair Trade certified and sustainably sourced premium rum, Flor de Caña Rum will join in on the fun.
