Women are honored and celebrated this March at Intramuros, Manila as the art exhibit and art installation of visual artist and Philippine Navy Ambassador, Kristine Lim, entitled The Redemption of Eve (Ang Hustisya Ni Eba), was unveiled March 1, 2023.
The event was graced by Manila Councilor Uno Lim, MGen Joseph Ferrous Cuison PN (M), together with John Arcilla of Senior Tourism Officer of Intramuros Administration, Patrick Maglinao JCI President, Johannes Chua Editor of Liwayway, Gemmalyn Crosby, Mon Coloma Guest Artist from Australia, and Pastor Monique Lopez Ong. Joining them also were Philippine Navy Officers and Personels, women from PNOWHA, JCI QC Capitol Officers.
The masterpieces of religious and artistic outreach collective Artist on a Mission, Kristine Lim and her works will be used as the Women’s Month cover of, and will be featured on, Liwayway Magazine. The actual artworks for the magazine will be exhibited in Fort Santiago, Intramuros, Manila for the whole month of March at iMake History Fortress LEGO Education Center, Fort Santiago, Intramuros, Manila. The exhibit will run from March 1 to 31, 2023.
Liwayway is the leading Tagalog magazine published in the Philippines since 1922. It is the first and oldest Tagalog magazine in the country. It contains Tagalog serialized novels, short stories, poetry, serialized comics, essays, news features, entertainment news and articles, and many others. Liwayway plays an integral role in the history of the country as it has always been upholding the Philippines’ literature, arts and culture up to this day.
