SHOPEE is giving over 100,000 brand deals during its 10.10 Brands Festival. Until October 10, shoppers can look forward to exclusive daily deals such as big brands giveaways, free shipping at zero minimum spend, and up to P1,000 off brand vouchers.
Not only has the leading e-commerce platform partnered with the best brands; it has also picked actress Kim Chiu to help make shopping during the festival more exciting.
Chiu gives the viral “Proof of Delivery” trend her own spin. Fans can watch the TV commercial on local TV networks and on the platform’s official Facebook and YouTube accounts.
Users can also find Chiu on in-app games such as Spin and Win and Guess It Right, which they can play to win rewards such as coins and vouchers.
This month, users can join the #10BrandFaves contest featuring Chiu for a chance to win 1,000 Shopee coins.
Martin Yu, director at Shopee Philippines, said that Chiu’s bubbly, charming personality and love for online shopping resonate with millions of Filipinos who find joy and excitement in the platform.
During the festival, lucky shoppers can win P430,000 worth of prizes such as vouchers, bundles, newly launched items, and even a lifetime supply of products, from over 30 participating brands.
Leading up to 10.10, shoppers can enjoy exclusive brand deals during the Super Brand Days where they can get discounts up to 80 percent off, branded items as low as P179, and a free gift with every purchase.
Shoppers can check out different themed sales on the platform including the Work From Home Fair on October 5, Gadgets and Gizmo Fair on October 6 to 7, and Beauty and Wellness Fair on October 8 to 9.
They can also activate their ShopeePay wallet and top up through online banking, debit card, and over-the-counter partners to get up to 50 percent discount on load, 50 percent cashback from partner billers, and ShopeePay P1 deals from partner merchants.
Yu shared how the platform continues to work with its partner brands to ensure they are equipped for the biggest brands sale of the year.
He said last year saw an unparalleled growth in e-commerce. The GlobalWebIndex (GWI) reported that the industry jumped five years forward in one year, and said that 49 percent of consumers will continue to shop online even after returning to normal.
As e-commerce grows, “We are seeing changes and consumer habits and the need for more engaging experiences online,” he also said.
In the same GWI, 29 percent of internet users across seven countries watched livestreams and 80 percent of them converted to online buyers after the stream.
The platform hopes to cater to this changing behavior by providing its users with an immersive experience through games, live streams, and entertainment, he noted.
With e-commerce here to stay, the platform continues to partner with more brands and to unlock growth opportunities online as well as bring the widest variety of deals to shoppers.
“By innovating and growing our digital ecosystem, we provide brands more methods to increase their presence and reach all types of consumers including new online shoppers in engaging ways,” Yu added.
